So anyway the other day like you I was filling up the gasoline tank and noticed I was paying $3.13 per gallon and I thought holy crimeny; what is with these fuel prices? Well then I got home and they were interviewing this Taxi Cab Driver in Lebanon who said fuel was something like $10.00 to $20.00 per gallon. The reporter asked the dumbest question in the world; Why is it so high? Dah? Well the very nice taxi cab driver looked at him puzzled and said; There is a friggin (BEEP) war going on in case you have not noticed? I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair and hit the floor sandwich and all; I bet my dogs would have loved that leftover steak sandwich indeed, they had been eyeing it for a good ten minutes already. Like no Dah you moron, there is a war going on. So I thought where does CNN get these clowns to do their reporting for them. Then I thought anyone who would volunteer to go report in a war zone, with international terrorists shooting pea shooters at F-16s and Apache Attack Helicopters with infrared and smart bombs could not be too bright anyway? Yah there is war going on you imbecile; that is why gasoline is so expensive in Lebanon. Then I thought to myself, hey, dah, maybe that is why I am paying $3.13 a gallon too? Moral of the story; the sooner we get rid of these disruptive International Terrorists the sooner we can get some stability in the gasoline prices state-side. Consider all this in 2006. |
