Mexican cuisine is very tangy. When in Cabo, you have to try their homemade corn tortillas and salsas. Fish dorado tacos and shrimp dishes are superb. Other Mexican favorites include carne asada and chimichangas. Restaurants in Cabo range from pricey romantic ones to affordable, cozy family places. They serve a great selection of seafood dishes and some also offer meat, pasta and desserts.

For souvenirs, you can purchase readymade or custom-made cotton and wool blankets. There are also shops selling antiques, paintings, wooden masks, religious statues and jewelry, wine and Cuban cigars.
