Illegal Immigration Issues in 2000 and Now

We do wall seen the massive protest of illegal immigrants and illegal aliens marching in our cities holding up Mexican flags. Many wondered how to get this bad? Well, it is not as if this happened overnight, this problem has been going on for a long long time and it is getting worse.

We were talking about these issues back in 1999 and 2000. Almost identical issues, what has changed? Nothing really, well, maybe there are more illegal aliens in the country now than ever before. In 1999 the estimated there were between 8 and 10 million now some estimates for his highest 24 million and growing at a half one million per quarter or 2 million per year. Below is an excerpt from an article I wrote in 2000 and it might give you some clues as to what was happening then compared to what is happening now;

We were supposed to build a tri-wall like that in East Germany, which was to go fourteen miles from the Pacific Ocean inland. And in Texas we were to have the, Hold That Line, program, like a bunch of football players pounding on their helmets. Read my lips there is no line. And in CA there was no wall built. Nothing can stop this in 1999, 145 people died crossing the desert by day from heat exhaustion. Picking up bodies is no fun. Another situation now which is no real big deal is the billions of dollars lost when Mexican Nationals on work visas or just here by jumping over the fence send back to Mexico. It is estimated that five to eight to ten million illegal immigrants are still in the US now. Many have no health insurance and when something happens they go for care and if it is serious they are treated on our bill.

Today receive it over key hospitals in CA closed because they cannot afford stay in business due to illegal aliens and Arizona prison system has 38 percent illegal aliens therefore violent crimes. The national average for federal prisons is over 33 percent illegal aliens. The cost to the taxpayer is enormous and this problem must be dealt with. Indeed, these folks just want to come here and make more money and or live a better life, but we cannot sacrifice all we are and all we have build in order to make that so. Consider this in 2006.
