Irish Setter: Does This Breed Fit You?

 

The purpose of this article is to improve the publics knowledge about dogs, the Irish Setter in particular. Many people decide that they want a dog based off of appearance alone. While this may not be a terrible thing to do if the person has the ability to accommodate all types of dogs, for some individuals the care for specific types of dog breeds is not possible. Standing at about 25 inches tall and weighing in at about 65 lbs, this silky coated ultra friendly companion is a handful but, a pleasure. This breed takes to training pretty well but requires a firm master to ease the wildness in their heart.
