Personal Services- Are People Just Lazy?

With the growth of the personal services industry it is easy to say that people are busier now then they were in the past. More people are going to college, business ownership is booming, and more people are working over 40 hours a week. Even though those statements are true one has to wonder are people really that busy or are they just lazy?

Concierge services are popping up all over the place to take care of people's little errands. The maid service industry is continuously growing, as people are realizing maid services are not just for the wealthy. In addition, other businesses that offer services such as grocery delivery are steadily rising. If you address the situation from a convenience point of view people use these services because they are convenient, not because they need them, which could be considered lazy. These types of businesses can be grouped into the same category as quick service checkouts at grocery stores and drive thrus at restaurants.

No matter what people's reasons are for using personal services it is obvious that they will continue to grow throughout the country. It is also very obvious that any product or service that can make people's lives easier will be very popular.
